PLASTIC CONTAINERS
FOR FOOD PACKAGING

It was set up in 1960 in Pontecurone (AL) , moving in 1969 to Voghera, the heart of the Milan-Genoa-Turin industrial triangle. The modern PIBERPLAST plant stands in a 110,00 sq.m area, 26,000 of which are occupied by plant and warehouses. A leader in its sector, PIBERPLAST targets its production at the ice-cream packaging sector, offering a very wide range of cups, beakers for eat-as-you-walk and take-away use, as well as trays, multi-portion rigid containers for family and bar/ice-cream parlour use.

Side-by-side with traditional offset printing, Piberplast has introduced IML (In-Mould Labelling) technology it had itself developed. For many years, with its "LITO-LID" brand, it was the only European producer of containers printed with 4-colour labels (IML). It distributed these containers directly to customers or through competitors (see CERBO in Denmark, THOVADEC now known as JOTIPAC in Belgium, FOSKO in Chile, etc. etc.) across the world.

Not just ice-cream
PIBERPLAST has created tailor-made containers for all milk by-products (yoghurt, cream, ricotta cheese, butter, mozzarella cheese, mascarpone cream, soft cheeses and parmesan cheese and plenty of others besides), transparent or opaque, lightweight containers protecting the product's aroma and taste through time (including an anti-gas barrier).
During 2003 a clean room has been built for products who needs a controlled environment.
The variety of production lines have one thing in common: a high level of service to customers and UNI EN ISO 9001-ED. 2000 quality certification.
